We don't agree with Dave Winer who has stated that "Podcasting is what S3 is all about, of course" − and we're hoping that this very service is testament to the fact that S3 can be used for much more than that. However, podcasting with S3 is an exciting idea, and filicio.us provides the means to do it!
Step 1
Upload your the audio or video files for your podcast to filicio.us. Remember to set the files to Public and give them a tag. In this case, we're using the tag mypodcast.
Step 2
Add a description and possibly rename the file. The filename and the description is included in the podcast feed, so this is where you "sell" your product to the listener.

Step 3
Now your podcast is ready and can be downloaded by at "http://filicio.us/rss/your-username/mypodcast" (i.e. http://filicio.us/rss/demo/mypodcast). This feed can be added directly to any podcast application such as Juice, iTunes, or iPodderX.
There's another bonus in using filicio.us to do your podcasting: You can publish BitTorrent RSS feeds. So if you're publishing large files and want to save some precious bandwidth, you can use the feed at "http://filicio.us/torrentrss/your-username/mypodcast" instead (i.e. http://filicio.us/torrentrss/demo/mypodcast). This is the ultimate solution for video podcasts.
